Let's wait for confirmation of the rumor; the profile responsible for the leak on social media is @AniTsumi, known for getting Japanese productions both right and wrong.

Mieruko-Chan Synopsis

The story follows Miko Yotsuya, a typical high school student who suddenly acquires the unfortunate ability to see spirits and ghosts that haunt her and those around her. Despite this, Miko does her best to ignore the ghosts' existence and tries to lead a normal life.

Thus, the anime premiered in 2021, animated by Studio Passione with character designs by Chikashi Kadeka.

Finally, Tomoki Izumi's manga Mieruko-chan has been published in Kadokawa's Comic Walker magazine since November 2, 2018, with ten tankōbon volumes printed so far.
