The official Twitter Kodansha 's Weekly Shonen Magazine has announced that the Blue Lock manga Nomura 's sudden illness .
The magazine's 45th issue did not publish a new chapter of the manga on Wednesday. The manga is expected to resume in 48th issue , which will be released on October 27 .

Blue Lock began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in August 2018. The publisher published the manga's 15th volume on August 17, and the 16th volume will then be published on October 15.
The volumes of the work have more than 4.5 million copies in print . It is worth noting that the manga won the " Best Shounen Manga" at the " 45th Annual Manga Awards " held by publisher Kodansha earlier this year.
Additionally, the manga is inspiring an anime , which will premiere in 2022 .
