The official Twitter of Houbunsha Manga Time Kirara magazine announced this Friday that the manga “ Bocchi the Rock! ” has surpassed 2 million copies in circulation following recent reprints of all five initial volumes.

Therefore, it is worth pointing out that the number is not a sales statistic and not all 2 million copies were sold.
Synopsis
The story revolves around Hitori Goto, nicknamed “Bocchi-chan”, a lonely high school girl who loves playing the guitar and spends her days playing alone at home. However, she joins the “Kessoku Band” led by her drummer Nijika Ijichi. She's not used to playing in front of people, but will she be able to become a great band member?
Aki Hamaji launched the manga in Manga Time Kirara Max in December 2017, and the series is ongoing. Finally, publisher Houbunsha published the fifth volume of the manga on November 26th.
