After much anticipation, the Boruto will finally have the long-awaited time jump in its story, where the characters are now teenagers. So Shueisha revealed the first official image of Boruto's teenage look in this new phase called Boruto: Two Blue Vortex .

The image is the cover of the October issue of V-Jump magazine, which highlights the new phase of the Boruto manga. Therefore, the cover features Boruto's full look as a teenager. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex premieres on August 20th, and its story takes place a few years after Naruto was imprisoned by Kawaki , and Boruto escaped from the Hidden Leaf Village.
Synopsis:
Boruto: Naruto Next Generation is the sequel to the acclaimed Naruto story, introducing Boruto Uzumaki, son of the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, Naruto Uzumaki. The new protagonist feels a certain resentment toward his father's constant effort to put the village before family. But, despite his father's annoyance, Boruto decides to follow the path of a ninja. He joins the team led by Konohamaru, Naruto's former disciple, along with Sarada Uchiha, daughter of Sakura and Sasuke, and Mitsuki, son of Orochimaru. The new Team 7 embarks on various missions until they cross paths with Kawaki, the mysterious boy connected to Boruto's future.
Ukyo Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto launched the Boruto manga in May 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump , serializing monthly in the magazine. The manga then moved to V Jump in July 2019. Masashi Kishimoto took over the project as the manga's writer in November 2020.
Finally, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations also got an anime in April 2017, but went on hiatus in March 2023 to prepare for the second phase of the story.
