Back in the present, the action explodes into an intense battle against Ryu, who uses his iron sand to dominate the battlefield. Araya, however, steps in with his unique blade, dispelling the iron sand and freeing Mitsuki, who joins Sarada and the others to face the enemy. The dynamic between the characters is palpable, with each playing a crucial role in the fight.

Ryu doesn't make things easy. He launches waves of iron sand at the group, but Araya counters with his blade, neutralizing the attacks repeatedly. Sarada springs into action with her Fire Release , but Ryu defends himself with an iron sand shield. Mitsuki, in his sage mode, tries to surprise him with his snakes, but Ryu demonstrates his versatility by transforming into iron sand to escape.

Sarada activates her Sharingan against Ryu

Araya continues to use his blade to combat Ryu, while Mitsuki and Sarada coordinate attacks. In a moment of hope, Sarada activates her Sharingan and launches a Chidori at Ryu. However, the villain once again transforms into iron sand, nullifying the attack. The tension mounts, and it becomes clear that Ryu is an extremely difficult opponent to defeat.

Meanwhile, Matsuri remains irritated with Konohamaru, and the situation seems to worsen when Eida, watching from afar, comments that he is in imminent danger of being devoured. Boruto and Kashin Koji discuss the possibility of intervening, but Koji insists that it is not the right time.

In another dimension, Jūra, Hidari, and Mamushi have an intriguing conversation, while Konohamaru and Matsuri also exchange words. These exchanges add layers to the plot, suggesting there's much more at stake than just the current battle.

Yodo ends up in danger when one of the claws bites her, and Araya tries to rescue her with his blade, but gets stuck in the process.
