Therefore, the video revealed the character of Kei Kaname voiced by (CV: Mamoru Miyano). The anime is scheduled to premiere in April of this year with animation by the studio MAPPA (Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen).
Synopsis:
The narrative follows the journey of Haruka, an exceptional pitcher praised for his perfection, and Kei, a talented catcher known as the "General," whose memory was erased due to a case of amnesia. This skilled duo was virtually unbeatable during elementary school, dashing the dreams of other players. Now, they enter a new phase by entering the little-known Kotesashi High School in Tokyo, where they reunite with old rivals who had abandoned baseball after losses to Haruka and Kei.
Boukyaku Battery is a baseball manga written and illustrated by Eko Mikawa. It has been serialized in Shueisha's online manga app Shōnen Jump+ since April 2018 and has been compiled into fifteen tankōbon volumes as of 2023.
Finally, the series placed sixth in the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2019.
