The manga Bukiyō na Senpai (My Awkward Senpai) by author Makoto Kudo has had its anime adaptation announced for 2025.

Therefore, the anime My Awkward Senpai (Bukiyō na Senpai) will premiere in 2025. It is directed by Ayumu Kotake (Acro Trip) at the animation studio Elle.
Synopsis of Bukiyō na Senpai:
"Kannawa-senpai is many things, but she's certainly not a cool girl. Then, she meets Kamegawa, her new kouhai. He's cute, a little nerdy, and easy to talk to. How will this clumsy senpai deal with these new feelings?!"
Therefore, Bukiyō is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Kudo. The story began as a webcomic published on Kudo's Twitter account in March 2019. It was later serialized in Square Enix's seinen manga magazine Young Gangan in December 2019.
