Synopsis
Saint Seiya: Next Dimension: The Hades Saga begins exactly where the original Defenders of Athena manga ends. After the terrible battle against the Emperor of Hell and his minions, Seiya finds himself unconscious and confined to a wheelchair due to the curse imposed on him by Hades. To restore the Pegasus Saint to normal, Saori and Shun meet Artemis, the older sister of the Goddess of Justice. They discover that the only way to lift Hades' curse is to travel back in time. Thus, Athena and the Saint of Andromeda meet Chronos, the God of Time, who sends them back to the 18th century. Saori and Shun return to 1743, just over 240 years ago, just as a new Holy War is about to begin. There, the Andromeda Saint of our time meets Tenma, the Pegasus Saint of that era, as well as the young Libra Dohko and Aries Shion. In addition to the inevitable war against Hades and his Immortal Army, the Saints will have to face betrayal within the Sanctuary itself.
