Kodansha and Flag Pictures announced Monday that the Cells at Work! live-action film adaptation .
Cells at Work! is getting a live-action movie.

Hid e ki Takeuchi is directing the film, with a script by Yuichi Tokunaga.
Akane Shimizu launched the Cells at Work! manga in the March 2015 issue of Kodansha 's Monthly Shonen Sirius , and ended it in January 2021.
The first season premiered in July 2018. The second season premiered in January 2021, alongside the spin-off anime Cells at Work! Code Black.
Synopsis
AE3803 is a red blood cell tasked with making deliveries throughout the body. She's very clumsy and constantly gets lost in the blood vessels. Through her eyes, we're introduced to the inner workings of the human body, especially regarding blood flow. Unfortunately, things aren't always smooth sailing, and she often runs into U-1146, a white blood cell obsessed with its job: killing invading germs.
