Gintama – Spin-off gets anime adaptation

Rafael Shinzo
My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

The spin-off of the Gintama 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei (Class 3-Z's Teacher Ginpachi) series, based on the novel, will be adapted into an anime. According to reports, the animation will be produced by studio BN Pictures (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun).

Synopsis:

The story takes place at Gintama High School with Professor Gintoki, but now with a different name and role. His name is now Ginpachi, and his occupation is that of a sloppy teacher at Gintama Middle School. At this same school, we can find other recurring characters from the franchise taking on roles focused on school life.

Finally, the work began publication in 2006 and its last volume was released in 2018. Furthermore, the debuted manga Gintama in 2003 and ended in June 2019 with over 55 million copies in circulation.
