Check it out:

The MAPPA studio event brought news about its biggest anime, such as Jujutsu Kaisen , Attack on Titan , and Vinland Saga . However, the event didn't bring any updates on Chainsaw Man, aside from an interview with the anime's voice actors. So fans, who were hoping for an announcement of a new season, were disappointed with the event.

See what the fans are saying:

  • The only thing I enjoyed about Mappa Stage 2023 was seeing Pochita and the Giveaway… until there’s an announcement of season 2.
  • MAPPA should give Chainsaw Man to Studio Bones and focus only on Jujutsu Kaisen, Vinland Saga, and Attack on Titan.
  • I knew that MAPPA had nothing more to offer Chainsaw Man.

Synopsis:

The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. Although generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can make contracts with demons to use a portion of their power. Denji is a depressed young man trying to pay off his deceased father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. But Denji also possesses a dog-like demon named Pochita, which resembles a chainsaw and assists Denji in his work.

Therefore, Tatsuki Fujimoto launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, finishing the first arc in December 2020 with 11 volumes.
