First, it's worth highlighting that the manga series recently returned in full force on July 12th! Recently, editor Shihei Lin confirmed that the number of reads on the Shonen Jump Plus service surpassed 2.5 million in less than 24 hours on the day of its return!
On the other hand, author Fujimoto began publishing the Chainsaw Man manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in December 2018, finishing the first part in December 2020. Furthermore, it's worth noting that an anime of the work will be released this year, 2022!

Synopsis
The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. Although they are generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can make contracts with demons to use a portion of their power. Denji is a depressed young man trying to pay off his deceased father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. Denji also possesses a dog-like demon named Pochita, which resembles a chainsaw and assists Denji in his work.
