Twitter account Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai! franchise posted a mysterious message that may hint at some major announcement for the franchise soon.
The message says:
Opportunity knocks. When the time comes, the doors of "celebration" will open . The message may be relevant, as the franchise celebrates ten years since its anime in Japan.
Written by Torako and illustrated by Nozomi Ousaka, the light novels were published by KA Esuma Bunko in June 2011 and concluded in December 2017 with only four volumes. The work inspired a two-season anime adaptation, produced by Kyoto Animation Studios and released in the fall of 2012 (October-December) and winter of 2014 (January-March), with twelve episodes each.
The adaptation ended with the production of the film Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Movie: Take On Me, released in January 2018 in theaters in Japan.
