Kadokawa confirmed on Wednesday the production of the 5th season of Classroom of the Elite. The announcement came shortly after the airing of the final episode of the fourth season, which concluded the adaptation of the first semester of the second year of the students at Koudo Ikusei.

The news came accompanied by a new promotional image, indicating the continuation of Kiyotaka Ayanokouji and his classmates' journey. With this, the franchise continues to expand the adaptation of the popular light novel written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Tomose Shunsaku.

The fourth season adapted the initial arc of Classroom of the Elite: Year 2, introducing new characters who played an important role in recent events.
