Cross Angel
The new anime from Sunrise (Fairy Tail, Escaflowne) has received a new trailer. The project will be called Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryū no Rondo (Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons). The series is also scheduled to premiere on local Japanese channels Tokyo MX, Mainichi Hoso, TV Aichi, and Nippon BS starting in October.
Due to humanity obtaining data technology that has evolved into a vast amount—called "Mana"—the human race is able to subdue all wars, famine, pollution, and other problems on Earth, using its power, which is similar to magic. Earth has achieved the utopia of complete peace and does not want it.
First princess of the Misurugi Empire, Angelize. Like everyone else, she also had no desires or worries. She was celebrated by the people of the empire and was destined to wear the crown. However, she realizes the shocking truth that she is a Norma. “Norma”: an irregular existence that cannot use Mana, and are treated as heretics and as “things” instead of people. Having everything stolen from her, she isolates herself on a remote island.
