This whole controversy began when the anime documentary “ The Leveling of Solo Leveling ” premiered on the platform, with an image of the character Beru , who appears for the first time in chapter 105 of the manhwa . Although the first season of the anime ends long before that point, fans on social media are convinced that this is perfect evidence of plans for a second season.
“Beru” present in the 2nd season of Solo Leveling?
The inclusion of the “Beru” character sheet is also likely part of the Solo Leveling production team's approach to adding more content to the story , as commented by producer Sota Furuhashi . When discussing the necessary changes to the manhwa, director Shunsuke Nakashige added this information:
There were characters that did not appear in the webtoon. They were mentioned in the dialogue but didn't appear in the art, so we asked, 'Well, what do they look like?'
So the anime team may already be considering the best way to tease his character and incorporate him into the story.
Synopsis:
The story takes place ten years ago, after the “Portal” that connects the real world with a world of monsters was opened, however some ordinary people received the power to hunt the monsters in the portal. They are known as hunters. However, not all hunters are strong. My name is Sung Jin-Woo, an E rank hunter. I am someone who has to risk his life in the weakest dungeons, “The weakest in the world”. But without having any skills at my disposal, I can barely make money in low-level dungeons… At least until I find a hidden dungeon with the highest difficulty within Rank D! In the end, while accepting my death, I gained new power.
The animation for the Solo Leveling is from A-1 Pictures , a well-known studio responsible for the anime Sword Art Online, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Boku dake ga Inai Machi Mashle, The Seven Deadly Sins, among many others.
