The Crunchyroll Anime Awards has officially confirmed the date for its 10th edition. The global ceremony will take place on May 23, 2026, live from Tokyo, celebrating a landmark year for anime on streaming and in theaters.

The nominees will be revealed on April 2nd, which also marks the opening of worldwide fan voting. In total, the awards encompass 32 categories, including series, films, creators, and performances that stood out in 2025.
As in previous years, Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira return as the main hosts. Meanwhile, the global pre-show will be hosted by Lauren Moore and Tim Lyu.


Among the musical highlights, singer Yoko Takahashi will give a special performance in honor of the 30th anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion, performing "A Cruel Angel's Thesis." In addition, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Hirofumi Kurita, will present new symphonic suites on stage.

Therefore, with its return to Japan and a total focus on the fans, the Anime Awards 2026 promises a historic celebration for the otaku universe.
