Publisher Shogakukan announced that the Dance Dance Danseur manga anime adaptation . The project marks the first time that a manga by author George Asakura has been given an anime.
Synopsis
The story focuses on the character Junpei Murao, who was fascinated by ballet as a child, but in his second year of high school, his father passed away and he decided he needed to become more “masculine”, and gave up on his aspirations. Although he still has an attachment to ballet, he dedicates himself to the martial art of Jeet Kune Do and becomes popular in his class. Then one day, a new transfer student named Miyako Godai arrives in Junpei's class. Miyako notices that Junpei is interested in ballet and invites him to do ballet together.
George Asakura launched the Dance Dance Danseur manga in Shogakukan 's Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 2015 . The 19th volume arrived on January 12th, the 20th volume will be released on April 12th.
