Publisher Shogakukan has announced that the manga "Dance Dance Danseur" anime adaptation . This marks the first time a manga by author George Asakura has received an anime adaptation.
Synopsis
The story centers on Junpei Murao, who was fascinated by ballet as a child. However, in his second year of high school, his father passed away, and he decided he needed to become more "manly" and gave up his aspirations. Although he still has a fondness for ballet, he dedicates himself to the martial art of Jeet Kune Do and becomes popular in his class. Then, one day, a new transfer student named Miyako Godai arrives in Junpei's class. Miyako notices Junpei's interest in ballet and invites him to take ballet together.
George Asakura launched the Dance Dance Danseur manga in Shogakukan 's Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 2015. The 19th volume arrived on January 12th, the 20th volume will be released on April 12th.
