Dandadan continues to surprise with its animation and story, winning over more and more fans. The trailer for episode 3 revealed its release date, leaving fans even more eager.
In the episode, Okarun is transformed by Turbo Baba's (Grandma Turbo's) curse and loses control of his power, entering a state of uncontrolled rage. However, Momo's grandmother, Hoshiko, who is a powerful medium, appears in time to save them. To break the curse, Momo and Okarun end up challenging Turbo Baba to a kind of "tag." Before the big battle, Hoshiko orders them both to undergo special training. But, during the training, Turbo Baba appears before Momo, starting a new confrontation.
Therefore, episode 3, 'Granny vs Granny Clash', of Dandadan premieres on October 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM (Brasilia time) on Crunchyroll. Additionally, the anime will be streamed on Netflix.
Synopsis Dandadan:
The anime Dandadan tells the story of a nerd who faces spirits and aliens vying for his "family heirloom." And who better to help him than his high school crush and a spiritual grandma?! Momo Ayase and Okarun disagree about the paranormal. But in this quest to prove who's wrong, secret passions and paranormal battles emerge! Momo befriends Okarun, a UFO fanatic at school. While Momo believes in spirits, Okarun thinks the opposite. To resolve their differences, they decide to visit a UFO hotspot and a haunted tunnel!
DanDaDan is based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It has been serialized on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ app and website since April 2021.
