The project is part of the franchise's 10th anniversary celebration. It's free to play with in-game items available for purchase. It will allow players to relive the story and its battles with familiar characters like Bell and Hestia in "anime-like 3D graphics."
The anime's voice cast is reprising their characters.
Each player can assemble their own party with various training elements like "adventurer," "auxiliary," and "scene cards," and then embark on adventures. There will be battle royales where all other characters are enemies, as well as autoplay battles where organization is key.
Synopsis
The story focuses on Bell Cranel, a solitary 14-year-old adventurer who serves the goddess Hestia. As the only member of the Hestia Familia, Bell works hard every day in the Dungeon to improve himself. He admires Aiz Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved his life, making him fall in love with her. Little did Bell realize, however, that many other girls had also developed feelings for him—most notably Hestia herself—as he gained allies and improved with each new challenge he faced.
