During the “MF Bunko J Summer School Festival” event, the trailer, a promotional image, the main staff, and the planned 2024 premiere of the anime Days With My Stepsister (Gimai Seikatsu) were revealed.

Synopsis
The novels focus on Yuta Asamura, whose father remarries when he's in high school, and he gains a beautiful new younger stepsister, Saki Ayase. Saki is also the top student in her class. Both have some knowledge about relationships between men and women through their parents, and to avoid family discord, they agree not to be too confrontational but also not too lenient, maintaining a moderate distance between them. Saki longs for familial love but always tries to be alone, and Yuta is confused about how to be a proper older brother. Gradually, they learn to feel comfortable with each other.
Kadokawa published the first volume of the novel in January 2021, and the ninth volume will arrive on August 25th. Mikawa previously wrote the light novel series “My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me!”.
Finally, Yumika Kanade is drawing a manga adaptation. The second volume of the manga was released in December 2022.
