With the DVD expected to be released in August, Wendel Bezerra announced personally on his page via Facebook , justifying that he had accepted to participate in the work and that he should record his part on June 9th, but was informed by the studio that “there would be no more time ”.
In the statement, he says that he did not charge more than usual and is disappointed with the position taken by those responsible. In addition to the DVD, it is possible that Goku's new voice will also be present in future showings of the film on closed and open TV.
Paris Filmes intended to use the same dubbing as the film, but the amount requested by Diamond Films, the rights holder, was too high and they ended up opting for a redub, now done by the Clone studio. It is worth remembering that the film is available with the dubbing of the cinema version through Netflix.
