- Nintendo Switch 2: Risk of scarcity at launch
The main news is the possibility of matches with two murderers and eight survivors, expanding the dynamics of multiplayer terror. In addition, the event adds new mechanics and items inspired by Resident Evil's universe, such as antidotes and healing herbs.
New mechanics and exclusive items in Dead by Daylight
During the event, supply chests may contain a universal antidote if nemesis and mastermind are in the same match. This item allows survivors to hinder T-Virus and Uroboros infections, classic elements of the Capcom franchise.
In addition, green and yellow herbs appear randomly on the map, providing healing to survivors. However, the killers will be able to destroy these herbs and gain a brief increase in speed, making the dispute even more strategic.
Unpublished skins and classic Map of Resident Evil
The event also features new resident Evil -based looks. Nemesis receives the Nonesis Origin Outfit costume, while Albert Wesker (Mastermind) wins the New Dawn clothes, inspired by its version of Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Survivors Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers also win skins with iconic franchise costumes. In addition, the Raccoon City Police Station map will be added to the event rotation, recreating one of the saga's most striking scenarios.
Improvements in matchmaking and killer lineup
To make the event more dynamic, Behaviour Interactive will implement AI -controlled bots to fill two survivor vacancies in each 2V8 mode lobby. This will reduce the waiting time for those who play as a killer.
Players will be able to choose between the Nemesis and Mastermind killers, as well as The Legion, the original character of Dead by Daylight. With these additions, the crossover between the franchises promises an intense and challenging experience for fans.
