As we had announced at the beginning of February, Death Note is turning 10 years old and the fifth volume of Shueisha Jump Remix announced that the manga will have a special project, Today a countdown has started on the website , for March 3rd in the middle -day, with only a vague clue about the awaited event.

The announced event was a “ real escape game ” in celebration of the series’ 10th anniversary. The escape game is a public participation event held in Japan that involves the use of clues with the intention of escaping a locked room within a set time.
The game will be held from May 30th to July 27th without a defined location. Tickets will go on sale from March 21st at a cost of 2,200 yen (R$50.00) to 3,300 yen (R$76.00).
The Manga was first published in December 2003 by Shueisha in the Japanese weekly magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump, until May 2006 with a total of twelve volumes. It soon had 37 episodes developed by Madhouse and directed by Tetsurō Araki .
In Brazil, the manga series was published by Editora JBC.
