The July issue of Kodansha 's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine announced that Hitsuji Yamada 's manga Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuutsu ( The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today ) will be receiving an anime adaptation , with a confirmed premiere date of 2023.
An official website and a Twitter have been opened for the anime.
Yamada shared illustrations to celebrate the anime announcement:

Synopsis
When Saku took in a stray black cat, she never expected him to become the equivalent of a domestic life partner. But Yukichi, a giant cat who towers over Saku, is no ordinary feline. He takes great pride in his culinary skills, and a good sale at the supermarket always makes his whiskers twitch.
The author launched the manga in the online manga section Suiyoubi no Sirius , published by Kodansha , on the Nico Nico Seiga website in August 2018.
