With the end of the 3rd season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 's Blacksmith Village arc , the official website took the opportunity to announce the new saga titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc TV for the 4th season.

The new season is directed by Haruo Tonozaki at Ufotable , with character designs by Akira Matsushima and the return of the entire voice cast.
The final episode of season 3 had an extended runtime of 70 minutes, featuring the grand climax of that arc.
Synopsis:
After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro needs to go to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, since his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain of the story, with the mission of killing the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the demon slayers will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the Upper Moon demons again to stop them.
Thus, the first season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , becoming a successful phenomenon with the movie. The second season premiered on December 5 , 2021 in Japan. Finally, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll after the release of the movie To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
