Anime News Network tracked Japanese TV anime viewership at the end of April, with Demon Slayer coming in second. Season 3, episode 3, had a 6.4% rating in the Kanto region on Sunday the 23rd. Furthermore, the anime's viewership surpassed that of other popular anime series, such as Detective Conan and One Piece .
In the ratings list, Demon Slayer was second only to Sazae-san , which had a rating of 8.0%. You can check out the full list at this link .
Synopsis:
Tanjiro awakens from a coma after defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District and must travel to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, as his old one has been damaged. However, along the way, he encounters new demons who are ordered by Muzan, the main villain of the plot, to kill the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the hunters will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the demons of the Upper Moons again to stop them.
Thus, the first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered in April 2019 , becoming a hit with the film. Finally, the second season premiered on December 5, 2021, in Japan. Furthermore, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll following the release of the film To the Swordsmith Village - World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
