The Hashira of Mist and Love have been the main focuses of Demon Slayer , but the Hashira of Flame, Kyojuro Rengoku , still has a strong presence in the series as well. Spoiler alert: Muichiro 's flashback .

In episode 9 of Demon Slayer, Muichiro finally defeats Gyokko , the Upper Moon 5, by cutting off his head. Shortly after the fight ends, young Kotetsu , who had received a fatal attack to the chest, appears and shows that he is fine. He says he survived because Rengoku's sword hilt protected his chest.
Tanjiro handed the hilt to Kotetsu, asking him to add it to his new sword. As soon as the Hashira of the Mist sees the hilt of the sword, Muichiro already remembers Rengoku in a touching scene. Although he is already dead, the scene shows that the Hashira of Flames still has a lot of influence over his colleagues.
Synopsis:
After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro needs to go to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, as his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he comes across new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain of the plot, with the mission of killing the blacksmiths. Without blacksmiths, hunters will have no swords to fight demons. So Tanjiro and his friends have to fight the demons of the Upper Moons again to stop them.
Therefore, the 1st season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , making the film a successful phenomenon. The second season premiered on December 5, 2021 in Japan. Finally, the 3rd season premiered on Crunchyroll after the release of the film To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
