The official Twitter for the game Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles announced today that it has already sold 1 million copies worldwide.
It's important to point out that this number represents the number of copies the company released, but not necessarily that they were all sold. Therefore, the number is not a sales statistic.
The official Twitter account also made a point of mentioning that the first free update for the game will be released soon.
Rui and Akaza will be added to the game as playable characters via an initial free update; a total of three updates are already planned.
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles was released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) on October 15th.
