The soundtrack for the second season of the anime Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic. The opening theme will be performed by the band Sid and the song will be called "Anniversary".
The group performed the first opening theme song for the anime, titled “VIP.” The band was formed in 2003 and this year celebrates its 10th anniversary; the title of the new Magi opening is suggestive of this fact. Sid is also known for having collaborated on songs for anime such as Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
The ending theme will be performed by the band Aqua Timez , and the chosen song will be called "Eden." The band has a long history and has already performed theme songs for Bleach, Star Driver, the animated film Brave Story, and the drama and film Gokusendentro, and has a legion of fans when it comes to anime openings and endings.
