The first trailer for the highly anticipated film Dracula Untold has been released.
The screenplay, written by newcomers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, is partially inspired by historical facts, but blends the basis of real events with the story of the vampire Count Dracula, created by Irish writer Bram Stoker and published in "Dracula," a book from 1897.
Directed by Gary Shore, the film stars Sarah Gadon (Cosmopolis), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Samantha Barks (Les Misérables), and Charlie Cox (Daredevil). Dracula Untold arrives in theaters on October 16, 2014.
