Episode 8 of Dragon Ball Daima redefined classic events in the franchise, especially with MajinBuu. Besides featuring an intense battle between Goku and Tamagami, the episode showed the true origin of the villain Majin Buu, going beyond what we know from Dragon BallZ.

Previously, it was believed that Majin Buu had been created by Bibidi, an evil alien wizard and father of the well-known Babidi. However, in 2014, Akira Toriyama clarified in Saikyo Jump that Bibidi only awakened Majin Buu, who, in fact, already existed "since time immemorial." Now, Dragon Ball Daima follows this line by revealing who truly created the dreaded villain.

In episode 8, it is revealed that Marba, a Majin-type witch, is responsible for creating the villain Majin Buu. Dr. Arinsu, a clever scientist, discovers this information when she seeks Marba's help in her quest to become the next ruler of the Demon Realm. Reluctantly, Marba admits her involvement, as the creation of Majin Buu resulted in mass destruction and countless deaths. Despite this, she agrees to create another Buu, this time under Arinsu's command.

Furthermore, Arinsu collected a sample of Majin Buu during Vegeta's explosive sacrifice, using it for her experiments. Although Buu's evil side has disappeared since his separation, the scientist seeks to recreate the villain's most dangerous version: Kid Buu.

Dragon Ball Daima may be hinting at a new version of Majin Buu, possibly an alternative to Kid Buu. This approach wouldn't be unprecedented, considering the return of other classic villains like Cell Max and Golden Frieza.
