Goku returned to being a child like in Dragon Ball GT, but Daima is following her own path by transforming practically everyone into a child version.
Dragon Ball Daima will not be a sequel to Dragon Ball Super. The series will actually take place before the events of Dragon Ball Super, seeing Son Goku transformed into a much younger version of himself and traveling the universe with Kaioshin to reach adulthood once again.

Dragon Ball Daima will take place at a unique time in the history of the franchise. Taking place after Kid Buu's disappearance but before Beerus and Whis' arrival, this likely means we won't see transformations like Super Saiyan Blue , Ultra Instinct , and many of Super's other forms.
