The Secrets of Dragon Ball Daima: What you need to know about this adaptation
Check it out:
Number of Episodes

The episode count is unknown, as even the animators don't know the duration. Therefore, the series doesn't feature varied art styles; the change from the Z style to the modern Toriyama style occurs when they are rejuvenated in episode 1, with the episode length being the standard 24 minutes.
About making the characters look younger, like they did in GT

Although the concept of rejuvenating the characters might seem like something we remember from GT, it appears to be nothing like that. The series closely follows the JRPGs that Toriyama was involved in, such as Dragon Quest and Blue Dragon . Someone hasn't revealed the other two main characters for some curious reason.
Directors and Character Designers of Dragon Ball Daima

Yoshitaka Yashima is the main director of the series, along with Aya Komaki. Yashima was primarily a solo animator on DBS, but he provided many solid storyboards for this work, marking his directorial debut. Nakatsuru is the character designer for the series, but unlike his recent work where he only provided designs, he will also contribute by making corrections.
The art direction is by Takahashi Kurahashi, whom you'll recognize as the art director for the 2008 special featuring Vegeta's brother. We got a glimpse of some of his stunning sets in the trailer.

The color design is by Rumiko Nagai, who also did the color work on Dragon Ball Super: Broly and Super Hero.
Anime animation supervisors

Some of the main animation supervisors include: Chikashi Kubota, Naohiro Shintani, Yuya Takahashi, Takeo Ide, and Miyako Tsuji. Practically a star-studded team for a production heavily focused on artistic consistency.
We can expect top Dragon Quest Dai professionals to appear as lead animators. The emphasis is on raw combat and traditional weapons, rather than ki blasts. Don't expect anything like the transformations from DBS.
Regarding the production of Daima

Production began in late 2021. Toei then created a pilot in early 2022 for Toriyama and Shueisha to approve the project. Subsequently, the full staff was recruited in April 2022. Finally, animation properly began in October of the same year, shortly after the completion of Dragon Quest: Dai.
The scope of the series grew during production, with many people's screen time being extended beyond the initial agreements. Its release format is no longer 100% certain, and the main DBS TV series is on the back burner for now.
Basic inspiration for DB animation: Daima

While it's true that the series is aimed at a younger audience, there will still be dramatic moments. Production documents indicate Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer as sources of inspiration, though it's unclear in what sense.
Deep involvement of the creator Akira Toriyama

They weren't kidding when they said this is the most Toriyama has ever been involved. He and Shueisha went so far as to check actual cuts of the animation to ensure they better matched their vision, not just script and design this time.
Choosing the name Dragon Ball Daima

The series had a last-minute name change to Daima ; the name initially considered was Dragon Ball Magic, which was recently updated last week. However, this name always had "provisional" (仮; kari), meaning Magic, written in it.
