According to The Dao of Dragon Ball, a new volume of Ginga Patrol Jako (Jaco the Galactic Patrolman) will be released on April 4th, featuring a bonus manga about the life of Goku's mother. The revelation was made by author Akira Toriyama during an interview with Saikyo Jump magazine.
The Saiyan warrior will be named Gine , who was part of Goku's father Bardock's . He saved her several times, until the two began a relationship. The union between Bardock and Gine was something very special, as it was a bond that went beyond reproduction, something common among Saiyans. Over time, Gine left the battlefield and began working at Planet Vegeta's meat distribution center.
In the interview, Toriyama also revealed that Bardock's design was originally created by the anime team, and that he only made a few changes. He also stated that the vast majority of Saiyans were low-level, including Bardock, and that only ten were mid-level. Only Vegeta and his father were high-level. Finally, he commented that if a new Dragon Ball film were produced in the future, he would like Vegeta to be the protagonist.
