A user with the nickname “ SUPERクロニクル (@DBSChronicles) ” assured that production on the Dragon Ball Super anime has resumed and that two seasons are planned to begin in the next few years , although no official confirmation or evidence has been confirmed. However, the user became quite popular after reporting details about the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero well in advance.
Rumor claims Dragon Ball Super returns in 2023
Regarding the two supposedly leaked aspects of the animated franchise, the user assured that it concerns both the series and the films, and said:
- The weekly Dragon Ball Super episodes that take place after the "Tournament of Power" are already in production. The anime will return in 2023.
- A new film in the franchise, following "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero," is already in pre-production. Toei plans to release new films every two to three years in Japan.
Therefore, both leaks should be treated as rumors.
Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou began publishing the manga through Shueisha 's V Jump in June 2015. The work spurred the 131-episode anime adaptation produced by Toei Animation , under the direction of Kimitoshi Chioka and scripts written by Toriyama, released in July 2015.
Synopsis:
Seven years have passed since the events of Dragon Ball Z. Earth is at peace, and people live freely without danger lurking in the universe. However, this peace is temporary, as an evil entity comes from the depths of the galaxy's darkness: Beerus, the god of destruction. Troubled by a prophecy that foretold him he would be defeated by a "Super Saiyan God," Beerus and his angelic assistant, Whis, begin exploring the universe in search of this mysterious life form. They soon reach Earth, where they encounter Goku, one of the planet's strongest warriors.
Finally, Dragon Ball Super: Broly was released in December 2018, followed by Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero on June 11, 2022.
