Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods' greatest asset is its humor. Although the story is somewhat childish, it has some very funny moments without neglecting the combat scenes that have been a staple of the series over the years.
Here's one point many people didn't like: the demoralization of characters like Goku and Vegeta . For those unfamiliar with seeing the Super Saiyan falling with a flick of his finger and the Prince of Saiyans doing the bingo dance, some fans' reactions are understandable. They'll find it quite amusing.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is a fun film that will appeal to fans who have never seen a single episode of the series, thanks to the humorous story. Furthermore, the animation is slightly more elaborate than the series and the Dragon Ball-Kai remake, with the use of computer-generated elements for better overall animation.
