A new image from the highly anticipated Dragon Ball Z movie has been revealed, showing that the iconic villain " Frieza " will return. The news was published in the latest issue of V-Jump magazine, which announces the film's title as " Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F " (Dragon Ball Z: F Resurrection or Dragon Ball Z: Frieza Resurrection). The film will be released in Japanese theaters in 2D and 3D starting April 18, 2015, as announced in a report by CinemaCity in Japan.
The poster below features not only Frieza, but also Beerus and Whis from the movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, as well as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, and Krillin.
Akira Toriyama said that the "F" in the title Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F stands for "Frieza," who will be revived in the film. Toriyama said he came up with the title after listening to the song "F" by the Japanese band Maximum The Hormone, whom he met personally through a friend.
The story revolves around an Earth where peace has arrived. However, the remnants of Frieza's army, Sorbet and Tagoma, arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the Dragon Balls. If their cowardly wish is granted, the "F" who plots his revenge against the Saiyans is revived…!
