E3 2016 - FIFA 17 bets on more realistic graphics

During E3 2016, EA surprised fans by unveiling FIFA 17 with improved graphics, powered by the renowned Frostbite engine—the same one used in Battlefield 4. After all, the franchise has long been called upon to bring more visual realism, especially compared to its rival PES, which has always been one step ahead in this regard.

  • E3 2016: Quake returns with Quake Champions

However, the company seems determined to turn this around. During its press conference, a video was shown focusing entirely on graphic quality, making it clear that this will be one of the biggest challenges for this edition. Peter Moore, then vice president of EA, stated with conviction: "We are the best." This confidence certainly stems from the new standard of realism that FIFA 17 aims to achieve.
