4 years after the launch of its predecessor, Capcom announced during Sony's E3 conference the next title in the Resident Evil franchise.
With first-person gameplay through PlayStation VR, Resident Evil 7 will be released on January 24th.
The gameplay trailer showed a character walking through an abandoned house and, including fan service in the opening animation of one of the doors, showed some horror scenes.
Resident Evil 7 will be an experience with the possibility of using virtual reality, but, so far, there is no confirmation whether the use of VR devices will be mandatory.
