Synopsis
In the story, an orphan named Shiki Granbell is raised by automatons on the planet Granbell, which is a kind of theme park. One day, the park receives a visit from the B-cube Rebecca and her friend, Happy. Upon seeing them, Shiki immediately tries to befriend them while they record videos.
The first season of the anime premiered in Japan during the spring 2021 season (April-June) and had a total of 25 episodes.
Shinji Ishihara (Fairy Tail, Log Horizon) was therefore the chief director for the first season at JC Staff, and Yūshi Suzuki (episode director for the third season of Fairy Tail) directed the season. Suzuki passed away on September 9, 2021. Mitsutaka Hirota (Zoids Wild, Rent-A-Girlfriend) supervised and wrote the series scripts, while Yurika Sako (key animation for Food Wars! The Third Plate) designed the characters for animation.
Finally, the author Hiro Mashima has been publishing the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since June 2018.
