Atlus ' official YouTube channel released the first promotional video for the Nintendo 3DS handheld game Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of Fafnir . The trailer introduces the characters, featuring a dungeon and several scenes battle The game will be released this winter in Japan. .
The Madhouse studio will return to produce the animated cutscene sequences for the game. The game will be a remake of the classic Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard , which was released for the Nintendo DS in 2008. Atlus had previously remade the original Etrian Odyssey with Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl in 2013.
