A new trailer and release date have been revealed for the fourth film in The Rebuild of Evangelion. Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is scheduled for release in June 2020.
The anime film is possibly the last one, concluding the Rebuild of Evangelion saga . All other films, besides this one, were animated by Studio Khara and directed by Hideaki Anno .
