The game Yu-Gi-Oh! has once again become the center of attention this week because of a card. The famous "Tyler the Great Warrior," which was printed only once, surpassed an exorbitant US$150,000 in bids on eBay.

The item was auctioned for the first time on eBay on Wednesday, and YouTuber Alex Cimo, who interviewed the card's owner, Tyler Gressle, said that it received a bid of $100,000 in the first hour.
Therefore, the Make-A-Wish granted Gressle's wish to create his own personalized letter in 2005, and Gressle has kept it stored away ever since.
In 2001, Tyler Gressle was diagnosed with undifferentiated sarcoma of the liver, an extremely rare form of cancer at the time; however, he then had the opportunity to select the artwork and name for an upcoming card.
For the letter “Tyler, the Great Warrior,” manga creator Kazuki Takahashi drew two sketches of a design based on Trunks, a character from Dragon Ball. Takahashi also personally signed the letter. Gressle commented that his wish gave him the opportunity to express his appreciation for two of his greatest interests at the time: Dragon Ball and Yu-Gi-Oh!.
The auction will end on April 29th, and Gressle plans to donate a portion of the auction proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a thank you for helping illustrate his inner warrior. Additionally, Beckett Grading Services professionally graded the letter a 7 (near perfect).
