Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry arrives on the Cinépolis Network!
The long-awaited film Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry has received great news for fans of the series here in Brazil. According to a publication made by “Konnichiwa Festival” on its Facebook page, Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry will arrive in cinemas in Brazil, indicating that its exhibition may be limited with the Cinépolis . Yay!!
Still in the publication, other countries were mentioned such as: Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina and Paraguay.
The story of the new film features the Dragon Cry artifact with magical powers that are said to be so powerful that whoever possesses it can destroy the Earth. Zash Caine (Jiro Saito) steals this artifact which brings him to the kingdom of Stella which is ruled by King Animus (Makoto Furukawa) with the help of Sonya (Aoi Yuki – Madoka Magica).
The direction is by Tatsuma Minamikawa (Same guy who directed episodes of Aldnoah.Zero, Attack on Titan, Haganai NEXT), the script is by Shoji Yonemura with character designs by Yuuko Yamada (Persona 3 the Movie #3 Falling Down) .
A little about the trajectory of the series!
The Fairy Tail work as a whole is written by Mangaka (in Japanese: cartoonist or comic artist) Hiro Mashima , who had two animated series produced by the beloved studio A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Ao no Exorcist), Dentsu Inc. and Satelight. The animation began broadcasting in Japan on October 12, 2009, still at the A-1 Pictures studio, the series received seven OVAs and two anime films, the first called Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestes. The series ended its run on March 30, 2013. A second series premiered on TV Tokyo on April 5, 2014, and ended on March 26, 2016.
