Aniplex has revealed a new voice actress for the cast of the anime Fanfare of Adolescence (Gunjou no Fanfare).

Voice actress Inori Minase will portray the character Eri Shimotsuki. Eri is a girl with a mature attitude who is admitted to the horse racing academy.

Eri is the only main female character in the anime.

Makoto Katou is directing the series at studio Lay-duce. Hiro Kanzaki is designing the characters, while Hiroyuki Sawano is composing the music.

Synopsis

The story takes place at a horse racing academy that trains young men to become jockeys. The three-year academy is highly competitive, and those who wish to enter must pass not only an academic test but also a physical and fitness test. Yū Arimura is a former popular idol who fell in love with horse racing after seeing it for the first time and wants to join the academy. Shun Kanami was raised on an island and only experienced horse racing through radio broadcasts while growing up. Amane comes from an upper-class family in England, and his father is a former jockey. Amane has attended horse racing academies in several countries. The series follows these three 15-year-old boys at the academy.

Fanfare of Adolescence will therefore premiere in the spring of 2022.
