Fate/stay night TV series has released a new promotional video featuring the character Rin Tohsaka , one of the participants in the Holy Grail War and Archer's master. The announcement features the theme song "ideal white" by Mashiro Ayano. The premiere of the first episode is confirmed for October 4th.
The new animated series will follow the "Unlimited Bladeworks" arc/route of the original game, and will be divided into two parts. The second half of the anime will premiere in April 2015. Newcomer Mashiro Ayano will perform the first opening theme song, while the musical group Kalafina will perform the first ending theme.
The film adaptation of the original game by Unlimited Bladeworks premiered in Japanese theaters in 2010, with animation by Studio DEEN. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the film in North America in 2012.
