Square Enix detailed, via its Twitter account , the themes for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV Active Time Report, which will be held at this year's Tokyo Game Show . The event will begin Saturday at 2:45 AM (Brasilia time). The content is detailed below:
- Compilation of information provided in the previous ATR : Gamescom and PAX Prime
- A new version of the "DAWN" trailer.
- New details about Luna and Regis.
- New gameplay focused on Chocobos and Fishing.
- Question and answer session with Hajime Tabata.
- Date of the next ATR.
The event is currently in Japanese, and will soon be available in English and Spanish (theoretically with subtitles).

Very little information about the game's plot has been revealed since E3 2006; however, representatives from Square Enix have commented that the storyline of Versus XIII (now Final Fantasy XV) may be even darker than other games in the Final Fantasy series.
Final Fantasy XV revolves around Noctis Lucis Caelum, the last heir of an isolated nation that holds the last Crystal protected by kings. Their isolation stems from the city's resistance against invading heretics. The game was said to begin the cleansing of "a long cold war between warring nations that revolved around the crystals.".
