Charles Ono
Hello! My name is Charlles and I'm passionate about Japanese culture, especially the world of anime. Here, I share trivia, news, and everything related to this world...

How about exploring with us how many employees work at the studios responsible for your anime ? Recently, we talked about the controversy surrounding the Demon Slayer . Despite producing incredible animations, they are facing financial difficulties. You can check out all the details of this case by clicking here . But now, let's understand how these studios deal with the demand for professionals. Without further ado, let's get to the list!

First, it's worth remembering that the amount of money animation studios spend to produce 24-minute episodes is insane. It's estimated that nowadays, animating a single episode costs over $100,000!

On the other hand, if we talk about the country with the largest and most renowned anime production studios, Japan dominates the list. But being in the lead doesn't mean it's more profitable than other countries. This is because the salaries of Japanese animators are far below what animators earn in the United States. However, the amount of work that Japanese animators deliver in a month is much greater than that of animators from other countries in an entire year!

Finally, for this list we have compiled the most popular studios, some of their most relevant previously produced works, and the number of employees updated to the date closest to the work:
