Engineer loses her job

The story follows Ai Sato, an engineer responsible for maintaining her company's internal systems. Despite being a crucial part of the company's operation, she ends up being affected by a wave of layoffs.

New career in programming

Unemployed, Ai reconnects with her childhood friend, Kenta Suzuki. He invites her to work at True Coding School, a startup that offers personalized programming lessons for people facing professional and personal difficulties. Throughout the story, Ai uses her experience to help students regain confidence and find new paths through technology.

Finally, the work originally debuted as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website between November 2020 and July 2022. Subsequently, the publisher Shufu to Seikatsu Sha acquired the rights to the series and began publishing it under the PASH! Books label starting in May 2021.

Furthermore, the manga adaptation, illustrated by Io, began its serialization in August 2022 on the Comic PASH! website, also owned by the publisher Shufu to Seikatsu Sha.
